Intersectionality

Pale bands cross a worn, off-white field, and it takes the title, Intersectionality, to make that crossing feel heavy. A strip of blue and a thin black stroke run over a divide that splits it through the middle, and older layers surface beneath them until no band seems to stand alone. Its idea is a plain one: nothing is only one thing, not even something made in a closed-in space. One more crossing, out into the open, belongs to it too, and every crossing changes what passes through it. Follow any single band and the others are already in it.
